A few weeks ago, my mom sent me an article about something like “daring to consider women in science” that was really about the not-at-all daring act of uncritically repeating the same biases that most of America seems to hold about women in science. I think she hadn’t read it before sending.
I got to completely flip a shit and write her this long email rant about everything...
